Google Home Virtual Assistant

In this blog we will focus on the features that Google provides in their home virtual assistant. Home virtual assistants are used as a hub that multiple devices are linked together and can be controlled through your voice. With them, devices from many different companies and brands can be connect to a central brain in your home, as known as your home virtual assistant. Through it, once specified keywords and phrases are spoken and understood than it becomes easy to control your home. 

The following are some examples of the things that they can be controlled and done through the home virtual assistant. They can be used to control your lights, thermostat, tv, music, and so much more. In addition, they are able to inform you of calendar events, any reminders, weather, sports, tell you a story, read a book, search the internet for answers to all types of questions, and so much more. 

The great thing also with these devices is that you can have multiple of them throughout the house and they can all work together. They are highly customizable in many of the features that they offer. When it come to Android users, Google’s products are able to be seamlessly controlled through the phone through the Google Home app. Both of them work well with the Google line up of products. For Apple users, the Google Home app can be downloaded through the App Store.

Multiple Google products around your home are able to be created into different groups that could be speakers all over the home, specific rooms, or just one room. This can be used to play your favorite music, or listen to your favorite show or movie. In addition, each device can support up to 6 different users to provide a custom experience for everyone. Especially, for the devices with a screen, it can show text messages from others, and also being used for video calls (Nest Hub, Nest Hub Max). Through the Google Duo app a registered user can call all of their Google devices to contact someone at home. The camera on the Nest Hub Max can be used as a security camera, and it can recognize hand gestures to manipulate things on screen. Lastly, the Home Max is the largest speaker to produce the biggest sound from the lineup and it has to most microphones for even greater voice recognition.
